CREATING AN ECOSYSTEM FOR BLACK WELL-BEING
what liberation looks like when Black women lead it
we are an abolitionist sanctuary for Black women and femmes—single or under-supported moms, survivors of sexual and domestic violence, and those navigating systemic inequities. we create pathways for Black bodies to divest from oppressive systems and reinvest in ones rooted in care, allowing our community to receive the support they need while keeping their dignity intact. we provide direct access to essential services like therapy, rent assistance, and resource navigation, all within a culturally affirming environment that honors Black identities, acknowledges our trauma, and celebrates our joy.

support that doesn’t require
you to prove your pain
our programs meet Black women and femmes where they are—exhausted, healing, surviving, and still dreaming. we offer care that’s rooted in dignity, not judgment. we’re not waiting for systems to save us, we’re building what we need.
The Well

OUR MISSION HERE AT THE BLACK HEALING COLLECTIVE
a response to harm — a blueprint for healing
the Collective began as a response to the violence of systems that criminalize our grief, punish our poverty, and pathologize our pain. our work isn’t transactional — it’s relational. we offer care that’s unconditional, resourced, and rooted in the knowing that healing is collective.
Our Theory of Change
if Black women and femmes are met with accessible, culturally rooted mental health care, direct financial support, and care that honors our full humanity, then we will have the safety, tools, and space needed to heal, reclaim our power, individually and collectively, while disrupting cycles of generational trauma.
healing is never just personal — it is political. it is collective.
and our belief is simple: when Black women and femmes are centered, protected, and resourced, entire ecosystems of liberation can flourish.
